Samsung Galaxy S4 I9507 spotted on GFX Bench

galaxy s4

We have spotted yet another variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4, and this one goes by the model number I9507. The smartphone was spotted on the GFX Bench site with some information on its specs too. This smartphone will apparently run on a 1.9 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 chipset, with a 5 inch 1080p display and Android 4.2.2 to accompany it. This variant was recently spotted on Picasa, which further increases the credibility of the leak.

We’re not sure how this is different from other Galaxy S4 variants, but it’s likely that this is catered for a specific region or carrier, but there’s no confirmation of that. The smartphone seems to have LTE support on board as well, which hints strongly suggests an American variant.

This comes almost a month after the Snapdragon 800 version of the Galaxy S4 was leaked. The Galaxy S4 already has a handful of variants with the number crossing six already. However, most of them have been carrier or region specific. Samsung has a lot on its plate right now with the inevitable arrival of the Galaxy Note 3. Maybe this new variant of the Galaxy S4 will be unveiled along with the Note 3.
