Samsung could be launching 12.2 inch tablet with S Pen at IFA 2013

Samsung presentation The rumored Samsung tablet with a 12 inch display will launch at the upcoming IFA event, according to a new report. The existence of a 12 inch Samsung tablet was originally leaked early this month and this new leak sheds more light on that. The tablet will be known as the SM-P900 apparently, featuring a 12.2 inch 2560×1600 resolution display, S Pen functionality and an octa core Samsung Exynos 5420 chipset. According to industry sources, the tablet will hit markets by October, fitting in nicely with an IFA 2013 unveiling. Samsung has tried its hand with tablets each year with its range of Galaxy Tab devices, but despite that it hasn’t managed to gather momentum. However, with the iPad marketshare shrinking, this might be the best time to launch a new unique large sized tablet. The S Pen functionality, if real, will go a long way in appealing to the masses as well. Right before the IFA event kicks off, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 3 phablet along with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Via: Techkiddy
