Paranoid Android posts Android 4.3 preview ROM for Nexus 4

Paranoid Android

Fans of Paranoid Android have some good news waiting for them. The team has just announced the arrival of a preview ROM of Android 4.3 for the Nexus 4 smartphone. This new ROM titled “Nexus 4 Mako 4.3 JSS15J Preview” can be flashed via recovery by interested users. The ROM however seems to have some issue with root as mentioned in the Google+ page. So make sure you know what you’re doing before heading on with the procedure of flashing the ROM and the Google Apps (GApps) package. Users will also have to download the latest bootloader and radios.

Very recently, we saw the CyanogenMod team announce the CM10.2 update based on the Android 4.3 ROM. This, when most major smartphones haven’t even received the 4.3 update (with Nexus devices being the obvious exception). So it’s rather commendable that dev groups are striving to bring the latest version of Android to its fans. We’re hoping the team launches a fully finished Android 4.3 ROM at the earliest.
