The Sony Honami is set to be one of the hottest devices at IFA next month, but until then we only have the daily specs, photos and leaked internal report updates to keep the hype up on the new camera-phone from Sony.
This new leak shows the Sony Honami in a few different snaps, showing the size of the device, the 20MP beast camera and the gorgeous 1080p display set to arrive on the smartphone.
The exact camera spec is 20.7MP and it will come with 1/2.3-inch sensor with G Lens and f/2.4 aperture. It is set to be an iconic camera-phone, to take on the Nokia Lumia 1020 in performance, stabilisation and just incredible photos.
Luckily for Sony, they are not tied down to Windows Phone and users will be able to post their high-definition shots to Instagram and all other photo sharing platforms. The Sony Honami may also be capable of capturing 4K video, a truly remarkable feat considering we were wowed by 1080p video a year ago.
We expect to see the Sony Honami at IFA on September 6 a few hours before the big Samsung event. The Sony Honami is placed in a category of its own, not part of the Xperia line and will be priced similar to other flagship models, hopefully not $299 in the US.
