The Meizu MX3 has been known to be the company’s much awaited smartphone for 2013, and we now have a glimpse of it thanks to a leak. The image, although watermarked, looks to be the official press image of the smartphone. The MX3 has leaked on multiple occasions in the past, but this has to be one of the most comprehensive leaks we’ve seen so far. We recently reported that the smartphone will be Meizu’s bid for a comeback in the Chinese market which consists largely of cost effective smartphones. The same report also claimed that the MX3 could cost as little as 1,999 Chinese Yuan or $326 in the region.
The smartphone seems to have some sort of a transparent covering which we’re guessing comes bundled with it. The Meizu MX3 is believed to come with an octa core Samsung Exynos chip, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera on the back, Android 4.2 (Flyme 3.0 OS) and a 5.1 inch Full HD display. We can expect global retail channels to sell the smartphone shortly after the Chinese launch.
