Lenovo Ideatab A1000 receives software update, improves internal storage

Owners of the Lenovo Ideatab A1000 should check their tablet for a system update now, as Lenovo has rolled out an update to fix the internal storage mishaps that many early adopters have been experiencing. Out of the box, users were reporting that they only had 512MB of available internal storage, something that shouldn’t happen with a 16GB tablet.

As AndroidCentral mentions, the new update will increase the available storage from 512MB  to 1.5GB. Unfortunately, this update will result in a wipe of all your data, so make sure all those important photos and music are backed up before you install the update.

Lenovo has mentioned that they are working to bring more internal storage available to users on the tablet, but that 1.5GB is all that can be delivered as of this moment. As always, we’ll keep you guys updated on the site for more information as it becomes available.
