HTC One Max to launch with Ultrapixel camera and Snapdragon 800 chip

HTC One Max

A new rumor has shed some light on the alleged specs of the upcoming HTC One Max phablet. This report emerging out of China claims that the smartphone will pack an Ultrapixel camera as well as Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5. The smartphone is also believed to be coming with support for 4G LTE as well.

A recent leak showed off what appeared to be a finger print scanner on the One Max, which is yet to be confirmed. Apart from these features, the One Max will sport a 5.9 inch 1080p Super LCD 3 panel, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC and a 3,300 mAh battery.

The company has been trying its hardest to make an impact on the smartphone market with smartphones like the One, One Mini and other midrange smartphones. The One Max is a step in the right direction for the company, since the market is heavily leaning towards bigger and powerful devices. We can expect the One Max to launch sometime during September with a global launch in October.
