HTC One arrives at Verizon, no blue edition spotted

The HTC One is still the hottest device on the market, in our opinion, it packs an incredible design, crisp display, speedy performance and simple UI into one package. That being said, it has been on the market for a few months and there are new smartphones out to try their weight against the HTC One.

Verizon Wireless is the last big carrier to pick up the HTC One, with the HTC Droid DNA filling the space for the first few months. It seems Verizon will launch the phone on August 22, after almost three months wait.

One rumour circulating on the web about the blue version of the HTC One on Verizon may not be true, according to a leak from a Verizon employee, all the shipments are silver and some black editions, with no blue editions of the smartphone.

This is a little disappointing for anyone holding out on a blue version of the HTC One, with the colour options at launch a little underwhelming. The red version has made its way to Sprint, we thought this would be Verizon’s preferred choice, considering it is the big red carrier.

It is a little late for Verizon to gain any traction with the HTC One, with five million sales worldwide in the first month and a further few million in the last two months, most budding HTC one fans will have already bought into the smartphone.

  1. Verizon is pushing the Droids over the HTC phone. Not even on the first day it’s available is it given first slide on the front page of Verizon Wireless. Along with the 3 month delay they must know what their customers want better then the customers do.

  2. “ll the shipments are silver and some black editions” Where have you heard that they have some black editions ?
