The new Developer Edition Moto X has been spotted on Motorola’s website, confirming its arrival soon. Motorola has updated its “ways to buy” option on the website which now lists this new variant of the smartphone. Interestingly this variant appears to have the words “DEVELOPER EDITION” etched onto the back. Also noticeable from the press image is that this variant will feature a white back panel and a black front panel, while usually it’s just one color all throughout. Perhaps users will have an option to interchange between the two colors. Undoubtedly, the smartphone will pack an unlocked bootloader and will carry 32GB of internal storage as well.
A couple of days ago, Motorola’s VP of Product Management Mr. Punit Soni mentioned that the Moto X dev edition and other carrier variants will be arriving “in days”. This could well be the first of many hints regarding the availability of the developer edition Moto X along with other carrier variants.
