AT&T expands 4G LTE coverage to new cities


AT&T is at it again and some new cities will now be covered under the carrier’s 4G LTE umbrella. AT&T has also added support for its 4G LTE networks in cities of Washington, D.C. and San Francisco along with the six new cities. With the amount of 4G LTE smartphones increasing everyday it is commendable of AT&T to keep expanding its networks each month. It is currently second only to Verizon in terms of 4G LTE coverage in the U.S. Sprint is at a distant third place in terms of coverage in the country.

Here are the six cities which will be getting AT&T’s 4G LTE coverage beginning from today:

  • Coeur D’Alene, Idaho
  • Stockton, Calif.
  • Charlottesville, Va.
  • Topeka, Kan.
  • Kirksville, Mo.
  • Ft. Collins-Loveland, Co.

Most users in these regions have never used 4G LTE at all, so this will certainly be a refreshing change. If you belong to one of these regions and have already started receiving the 4G LTE network on your compatible devices, make sure you let us know.
