AT&T brings 4G LTE to 9 new cities

AT&T has just added 9 new cities to its 4G LTE expansion program. The carrier boasts of having the fastest 4G LTE network in the country, and this expansion will certainly bring smiles to the residents of these nine cities. AT&T has been expanding its horizon pretty rapidly with last week seeing five new cities getting 4G LTE coverage and several other areas being expanded. AT&T is also the second largest carrier in the U.S. after Verizon Wireless.

Here are the nine new cities getting AT&T’s 4G LTE coverage for the first time:

  • Champaign-Urbana, Illinois
  • Tupelo, Mississippi
  • Paducah, Kentucky
  • Mayfield, Kentucky
  • Moultrie, Georgia
  • Springfield, Ohio
  • Corning, New York
  • Whitewater-Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
  • Stevens Point, Wisconsin

AT&T currently provides smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and the recently announced Moto X which are all 4G LTE compatible. So users have plenty to choose from as far as LTE smartphones are concerned. If you belong to any of these regions and are receiving 4G LTE signals, make sure you let us know.
