ASUS accidentally ships 4G LTE Nexus 7 to a Chinese buyer

LTE Nexus 7

We all know that a 4G LTE Nexus 7 exists as Google officially announced during its unveiling. However, it isn’t available in the market yet with only the Wi-Fi variant being sold as of now. But a Chinese user has been lucky enough to get the 4G LTE variant accidentally, ahead of its actual release.

Needless to say, the user has posted several images to back up his claims which have since been picked up by several websites. A user of the Baidu Teiba forum called crazyfreely is the lucky user. The user apparently expected the Wi-Fi only variant for which he paid the local equivalent of $331.

Nexus 7 LTE 2

There’s no ETA on when the LTE enabled Nexus 7 will officially hit markets, but we can presume it will happen sometime next month or the month after that. Most aspiring buyers have refrained from buying the tablet in anticipation of the new LTE variant. Hopefully, Google doesn’t make users wait for long.
