We previously reported that the ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini will be officially revealed today in a press event. The event was just recently held and ZTE was able to launch their new mini smartphone in Beijing, China. More details were provided regarding this device and while there were many speculations surrounding it, the official price is lower than what was rumored it would cost.
The ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini is unlike any other mini version from other manufactures such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The Nubia Z5 Mini is only slightly smaller than its bigger brother, Nubia Z5. The Nubia Z5 sports a 5 inch display while the Nubia Z5 Mini sports a 4.7 inch display.

The device comes in various pastel colors with the back plates easily replaceable. This will make it popular with the younger generation as they could use a back plate to match their attire.
One important feature of the device is that its rear sensor uses the Sony 13 mega-pixel CMOS chip with an F2.2 aperture and 5 lens optics that makes it take great photos. The device also comes with the NeoVision imaging system which allows users to easily edit their photos and provide various options.
As far as pricing goes this device costs 1,888 CNY or roughly $308 which is lower than what was expected.
Compared to other mini versions out in the market today this model is one of the cheapest and has the advantage of a bigger display.
The ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini is now available for purchase in the Chinese market. There’s no information yet as to when it will be made available internationally but we will keep you posted on this.
