Samsung is still prepared to develop more consumer devices, even with three new releases of the Galaxy S4, including the S Active, Zoom and LTE-advanced unit for South Korea and hundreds of different tablets, phones and other electronics.
The first is the Galaxy Watch, set to be released at IFA with the Galaxy Note 3. We are still unsure what the Galaxy Note 3 will bring, with new rumours suggesting three sizes for the new phablet.
We have not heard much about the Galaxy Watch, said to be called the Samsung Gear, it will reportedly pack some nifty display specs and come rolling on Android. We do not know if it will be a standalone watch or if support from a smartphone is needed via Bluetooth.
There will also be two tablets launching soon, according to reliable leaker evleaks. These both appear to be Android devices, as one runs on the Exynos 5 octa processor and the other on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor.
The standout feature on these two tablets, coming with a 12.2-inch and 10-inch form factor, is the display, with a resolution of 2560×1600 on both devices. This is pretty incredible and trumps the iPad and other tablets with this size form factor.
Both tablets will come with the S Pen, Samsung’s stylus used on the Note line. This indicates a new step in the Note tablet line, something we have been missing out on. We may see these all launch at IFA 2013.
