Redesigned Play Store to support Google Glass?

A new screenshot has revealed a potential redesign of the Google Play Store. The screenshot also reveals support for Google Glass on the Play Store. As clearly visible from this screenshot of the newly designed version of the Play Store, we can see a list of devices in the compatibility list for an app download. One among those devices is Google Glass (Nico), which is shown as incompatible.

Google Glass doesn’t use the Play Store right now, but relies on a different service. Maybe Google wants to change that in the future as part of its unification process. It’s a pretty neat idea to download apps for Glass right from the Play Store, much like any other Android device. Its arrival is inevitable, but we don’t quite know when. Perhaps this new redesigned Play Store will make its way with Android 4.3.

Could this be the first of many Play Store related leaks to come? Let’s hope so.
