Chinese mobile giant ZTE has almost set its foot in the ‘mini’ segment according to a new rumor. The new ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini has leaked out with pictures, revealing yet another Mini smartphone among the several others already available or awaiting to hit the market. As the name indicates, this is a smaller variant of the ZTE Nubia Z5 which features a 5 inch 1080p display and a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip.
Unfortunately, there’s no information about the specs of this new smartphone as of now. But a 4.3 inch display and quad core processor can be predicted. We’re not sure if this will make its way out of China and Europe, but we’re hoping against hope that it will.
With the likes of the HTC One Mini and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini set to hit the markets soon, we can expect more manufacturers to follow suit. It was Samsung which began the trend of launching smaller sized variants of popular flagships and it seems like the competitors have picked up on that.
