NVIDIA Shield arrives tomorrow, July 31, for $299

After a few delays and price adjustments, the NVIDIA Shield will finally launch tomorrow, July 31st. It will be available at a price point of $299, adjusted from the previous $349 price tag.

If you guys need a refresher, the NVIDIA Shield packs a Tegra 4 processor, a 5-inch 720p touchscreen display, a full gaming controller, as well as stock Android Jelly Bean. NVIDIA has also preloaded a few games with the Shield, which will be available to play right out of the box.

For those of you who have preordered the gaming system, NVIDIA is starting to ship out your orders now. If you didn’t, you can purchase the device at $299 from outlets such as Gamestop, Newegg, and Microcenter, or from the official NVIDIA website.
