A never before seen image of the Motorola Droid Maxx has been leaked revealing a peppy looking red stripe on the back. It certainly adds to the overall allure of the pattern, which seems to be Kevlar made. The image comes courtesy of @srcleaks on Twitter.
The trio of Motorola smartphones known as the Droid Maxx, Droid Ultra and the Droid Mini have been consistently making the rounds in the rumor mill from the past few weeks. We are now waiting for a formal announcement scheduled to take place on the 23rd of this month. Coincidentally, this is a day before Google’s Android related event which is also being looked at with utmost interest.
The image only shows the back of the smartphone, and we must say we’re fairly impressed. As the image clearly reveals, this is a Verizon branded smartphone which is a little discomforting for fans outside the U.S. Verizon has always been fond of the Droid range of handsets, and we’re hoping this new wave of smartphones will revive Motorola.
