Motorola reveals a sign up page for the Moto X smartphone

Motorola Mobility on Twitter has just posted a link to the sign up page for the Moto X smartphone. When signed up, users can choose to be notified when the device is made available or receive information about the smartphone in due time. Following the same patriotic theme from the leaked poster, Motorola mentions how over 2,000 employees will be working at their unit in Ft. Worth, Texas to make the smartphone a reality.

There’s still no word on the specs or launch of the smartphone, but we expect some news to come forward tomorrow on the 4th of July. Make sure you sign up to receive information and special promotional offers as Motorola calls it. With the spirit of patriotism in the air, it makes sense for Motorola to utilize it correctly.

The Moto X has been in the news for quite some time now, so it’s not new to us by any means. But as with any rumors and leaks, we are never really sure. An August 1 release date has been rumored in the past, but all we can do now is wait.

You can find the sign up page here.
