We’ve been hearing rumors that Motorola and Google would be pricing the device that would make it irresistible for consumers to purchase-how does $299 off contract sound? According to “C Technology”, who has successfully reported on details of unannounced phones in the past, Google and Motorola plan to offer the 16GB version of the Moto X for $299, while the 32GB version will be $349. That’s even better of a deal than the current Nexus 4 pricing, where you only get 8GB and 16GB for $299 and $349 respectively.
I have to admit, even though the Moto X does have some very mediocre specs, this sounds very tempting. Motorola and Google have made it quite clear that it’s the software side of things that will sway you to buy the phones, not some incredible specifications. I guess we’ll have to see when their August 1 press event rolls around.
