MoDaCo Switch for Galaxy S4 quickly reaches its IndieGogo campaign goal

MoDaCo Switch has already past its small fundraising goal on IndieGogo to get the app onto the Galaxy S4. The app allows users to switch between vanilla Android and the pre-loaded skin at the touch of a button, without screwing up contacts and data.

The app developers offered to bring the app to the Galaxy S4 if support reached £1,000. It has already surpassed the funding needed with 17 days to go, the developers have said any further donations go to porting the app to other Android smartphones.

When the app first arrived on the HTC One, many screamed for a Galaxy S4 version. Even though Sense 5 has its ups and downs, the TouchWiz skin Samsung applies is by far the most hated on most Android boards.

We are unsure who could be next for the switch, the Xperia Z is placed modestly in third place on the Android ladder. Some fans of skins have asked if the Nexus 4 could be changed from stock to Sense, TouchWiz or any other skin, this would mean MoDaCo Switch would have to add the skins to the app and allow users to switch at a moments notice.

The app is currently ported at one device per time, we doubt the app developers will make a huge leap onto the app store, with the amount of little tweaks they need to do for every device. We also do not believe the app developers will port to older smartphones, instead looking for the biggest crowd of people on Android.
