We recently reported that an upcoming device called the HTC Zara will be headed out to Sprint. Little information was known then however right now LlabTooFer has just released the specifications of the device. From what we are seeing it looks to be a mid-ranger that’s a little bit larger than the One Mini.
HTC Zara Specifications
- Processor: Dual Core 1.4Ghz (Qualcomm 400)
- Display: 4.5 inch qHD resolution
- Cameras: HTC UltraPixel Camera/1.6mp
- ROM: 8GB
- RAM: 1GB
- microSD support
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Android 4.2.2
- Sense 5.0
This device will be made out of plastic which is different from the all metal HTC One Mini.
There’s really nothing to be excited about the specs of this device. It comes with specs that we have already seen before on other devices. If this were to be sold at a competitive price then this might sell well in the market. Sprint will be distributing this device in the US. It’s also expected to be released in Europe and Asia. The Chinese version of this device will be a dual SIM variant.
One can’t also help notice the similarities of the HTC Zara and the HTC One Mini. The Zara has a larger display, by only 0.2 inches, but its resolution is lower than the One Mini.
This device is expected to be announced by September which also coincides with that of the upcoming HTC One Max. The One Max is expected to head out to AT&T but not as an exclusive.
We will keep you updated on further information on this device.
