Cricket Announces Samsung Galaxy Discover, Priced At $129

Cricket has announced that they will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy Discover. This model is not a high end device however it comes with all the basic features that will appeal to first time smartphone users or those looking for a budget smartphone. The carrier will have this available on July 21st for $129.99 on their unlimited plan which starts at $50 a month and provides calls, texts and 1 GB of data.

The Samsung Galaxy Discover will feature the latest version of Cricket’s Muve Music service. This allows a subscriber unlimited music downloads to the device. There’s no streaming or syncing involved, just pure downloads that’s stored in your phone so you can enjoy listening to music wherever you go. You don’t have to pay per song you get since the monthly plan already includes unlimited music without restrictions. The songs you download are backed up so even if you lose your phone your music still stays with you. This is definitely a great feature for music lovers everywhere.

Like we said earlier the lowest plan available is the $50 monthly plan that comes with 1 GB of full-speed data. If you think you need more than this then there’s the $60 plan that provides 2.5 Gb of full-speed data and the $70 a month plan that gives 5 GB of full-speed data. Another advantage of the $60 and $70 plan is that subscribers will be able to use the device as a hotspot to share the internet connection.

Cricket Wireless is one of the most affordable carriers that carry Android and Apple phones. They have one of the best deals in no contract cellphone plans and prepaid phones. What makes this carrier different from the rest is that they don’t do credit checks and subscribers don’t sign a contract.
