The regional wireless carrier C Spire has finally added the Samsung Galaxy S4 to its list of product offerings. The company announced the upcoming arrival of the Samsung Android flagship for 2013 back in April, and opened the device to pre-orders since that time.
The smartphone that was recently named the most-loved handset in a survey is available from C Spire works with what the carrier dubs as the sole 4G LTE network in the country that comes with a personal touch. By this, the carrier means that C Spire offers several personalized services. For instance, it comes with Scout, a feature that recommends editor- and user-reviewed apps which it deems best-suited for a particular subscriber’s needs and preferences. Subscribers are also entitled to rewards called PERC points that come in the form of data passes, device replacement discounts, accessory discounts, and phone discounts. A WiFi ON Android app from the wireless carrier likewise provides free, always-on Wi-Fi connectivity from 12 million hotspots worldwide. The Samsung Galaxy S4 from C Spire also features Text CS, a customer sevice feature that answers any questions that consumers may have about the handset or their C Spire account.It also comes pre-installed with the Amazon Mobile and Amazon MP3 with cloud player.
Apart from these, the C Spire Samsung Galaxy S4 has the same features with the others that are available from other carriers. The handset boasts of a 1.9 GHz quad core CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, a removable 2600 mAh battery, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a 5-inch full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, a multi-feature 13 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP front camera. The smartphone measures only 7.9 millimeters thin and weighs 4.6 oz. Two color options of the device are available: Black Mist and White Frost.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 costs $199.99 with a 2-year contract from C-Spire.
