Best Buy, Amazon already shipping out the new Nexus 7

Nexus 7

The new Google Nexus 7 is up for pre order on several online retailer sites like Best Buy, Amazon and even Staples (currently listed as out of stock). Considering that the launch date has been set for July 30, we were of the opinion that units will begin shipping out then. However, reports are suggesting that some units have already begun shipping with a few users even getting their hands on the tablet. Best Buy apparently is even offering in store pickup at this point, which is great news for early bird buyers.

Some users might be able to walk in to an outlet and grab a unit if they’re lucky enough. With most retailers claiming to wait until the 30th, the likes of Best Buy and Amazon seem to be shipping long before that. So go ahead and place your order for the new Nexus 7 if you haven’t already.

The new Nexus 7 sports a 7 inch 1920×1200 display panel, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, a 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front facing camera and Android 4.3. As of now, Amazon is offering Saturday shipping tomorrow for an additional $8.99 on the price. You can check out several other shipping options from Amazon’s page in the link provided below.
