The Android 4.3 update is finally here, and it brings a few new features to the table. As usual, Google’s lineup of devices will be the first to get the update with the Nexus line receiving the update beginning from today. The two Google Play Store edition smartphones will receive the update soon, according to Google.
As far as the changes in Android 4.3 are concerned, Google has made sure the multi user feature has received more refinement with deeper control for the admin user to restrict some of the features of other users. This feature will only be applicable to tablets, of course.
Other features include support for Open GL ES 3.0, the new Bluetooth Smart standard helping with better pairing with devices and many more. This isn’t a groundbreaking update by any means, but will still do the trick for the time being. The second gen Nexus 7 will be the first device to ship with Android 4.3 out of the box.
Here is the list of devices getting the update:
- Nexus 4
- Nexus 10
- Nexus 7 (2012)
- Galaxy Nexus
