For a limited time, Amazon lowered the HTC One price to $79.99 yesterday said Android Police. The price drop came as a promo for this weekend especially for Father’s Day. Not to be outdone, Wirefly slashed the price of its own HTC One units. Now, it only amounts to $49.99.

The Features

Based on the website of Wirefly, the deal includes the HTC One Glacial Silver and the HTC One Stealth Black. The devices come with HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe Living Gallery, HTC Boomsound Dual frontal speakers and a 4.7 full-HD display. There are no shipping fees for the units also.

The Catch

There’s a catch with the offer though. Buying the $49.99 HTC One comes with a two-year contract with Sprint. Android Police reminded that the deal is only for new lines of service. That means a completely new account with the carrier or a new line on an existing account if you are already a subscriber of the network provider.

Google Play Credits

In addition to the offer, HTC is giving away $25 worth of Google Play credits for buyers of the HTC One said the report. All you have to do is proceed to the registration page of HTC, fill up the form with all the required information. That’s it, you will be able to get a code that will let you activate the free credits in just 72 hours.

The promo of HTC lasts until July 15 and it is only open for U.S. subscribers. There are some restrictions that apply to the deal too which you can find in the HTC site.

Great Savings

With the $49.99 and $25 free credits for Google Play, customers who will purchase the HTC One within the duration of the promo will surely be in for a great offer.
