Vine updates their Android app, adds Facebook sharing and Search

Vine updated their Android application to version 1.1 today, with some pretty major changes. They’ve included the option to search for users and hashtags now, which is a pretty major deal, considering that the iOS version has had this for quite some time now. They’ve also added Facebook sharing, so as soon as you finish your video, you’ll be able to instantly post it onto your Facebook timeline if you choose to do so. Here’s the full changelog below:

• Search for users and hashtags
• Improvements to capture speed, quality, and audio/video synchronization
• Clear cache option available in Settings
• Other bug fixes and UI improvements

The fourth change, “Clear cache option available in Settings,” is a pretty nice add-on, since many users have been reporting that continuous use of Vine eats up their storage. This is expected since Vine is naturally a video app, and takes up a ton of storage in order to cache videos.
