If you have been waiting to get your hands on a Xperia Z, the wait is finally over. Sony announced this morning that the Xperia Z will be making its way onto US shores, and will be a T-Mobile exclusive. T-Mobile has already launched a sign-up page for the device in case you were interested in learning more about its launch date.

The Xperia Z is one of the most impressive handsets that were shown off this year at CES, so this is a pretty big deal. The device holds a 5″ 1080p “Reality Display” with Sony’s Bravia Mobile Engine, a 13MP camera, a Qualcomm 1.5Ghz Quad Core Krait processor, 2GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of internal storage with an option for a microSD slot. Not to mention that the phone is also waterproof, and contains tempered glass on both the front and back to protect against scratches and drops.
