Banned Xbox One accounts will still be allowed to play purchased titles

The Xbox One still has resting questions hanging, even with the two conferences held by Microsoft revealing the console and many features and limitations it will have inside.

One question submitted by Reddit users for an interview with Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb was about banned accounts and if the gamer will lose all access to the game when they go offline.

Hyrb replied by saying this will absolutely not be the case and the account will be capable of playing games even when the user has been banned from Xbox Live or a third party multiplayer, although the multiplayer feature may disappear.

We believe Microsoft will implicate a way for the network to know the account is banned but allow some gameplay features, albeit not multiplayer and chat. Chat is now available through Skype, so we may see banning on third party applications.
