Apple Has 900k Apps on the App Store

What better way for Apple to start this year’s keynote presentation at WWDC 2013 by talking about the companies accomplishments over the years-

Tim Cook has been spending the last quarter of an hour describing a plentiful amount of stats on the success of Apple and in particular it’s iOS mobile operating system.

According to Tim Cook, a total of 900,000 apps are now available in the app store, with 375,000 of them being fully optimized for the iPad.

That’s a huge chunk of apps to take in, but if that’s not enough for your number crunching brains, Tim Cook also stated that Apple has now received 50,000,000,000 downloads from the app store, and have paid out $10 billion to developers, with half of that being just within the last year.

Apple has been rumored to reveal their new iOS today, something which some have claimed to be a complete refresh of the mobile OS.
