Yesterday, we saw rumors about the existence of a Twitter app for Google Glass already as screenshots of tweets sent by the app surfaced, with the “Twitter for Glass” app name, the “#throughglass” hash tag, and a stock text (or at least what we expect it to be). This tweet was deleted soon after. But today we have another similar tweet from Loic Le Meur, founder of LeWeb.
— Loic Le Meur (@loic) April 30, 2013
Loic Le Meur has tweeted an image from inside his car where you can see one of his hands gripping the steering wheel, and a few cars and trucks on the road. This seems to be the proper use of the Google Glass. But this did not have the mention of “Twitter for Glass” app name in the tweet, or the stock Twitter text, as seen in the tweets from yesterday. This only has the #throughglass hash tag.
But when CNET asked the founder if this was sent from a Google Glass unit, he said yes, making it very clear that there already is a Twitter app for Google Glass.
