Despite Nokia being the main player in the Windows Phone field, there still are competitors, including both Huawei and Samsung. Huawei released their first Windows Phone handset, the W1, around half a year ago, and it seems now it’s time for the tech firm to bring out another round into the Windows Phone ecosystem.
According to rumors, the Ascend W2 will come with a nice 4.3 inch HD display, an 8MP camera with LED flash, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU and 1GB RAM. Rumors also say the battery will be of 2000mAh, making ample battery life for a 4.3 inch display.
A reputable leaks source has now just posted an image of the W2, making it the first time we’ve seen what the phone actually looks like.
The phone also has been rumored to cost a little under $300, making it a decent mid-range smartphone, and this is certainly shown in its blocky design. Still, the W2 sounds like a solid handset, and it’ always nice to have more manufacturer choice for Windows Phone.
