It seems HTC is getting ready to release a superdevice to dominate the market later this year, or possibly early next year. The said device, according to DroidLife, is the HTC T6 with 1080p resolution. Then, it will finally have the much-rumored Key Lime Pie, which is Android’s next generation operating system. The new smartphone will also have the Snapdragon 800, which is the upcoming SoC of Qualcomm.
As mentioned, the device will sport a 1080p resolution with its big 5.9-inch display, making it a phablet. Now, that would surely get fans over the edge of their seats because they will have plenty of room to tinker and play around with its big screen.
The Operating System
The speculation that the phablet will benefit from the Key Lime Pie is not far-fetched because Google is likely to release its next-generation OS late this year. This would make it one of the smart devices that will hold the new Android OS. But as to its Android version, it is unknown yet if it will have the 5.0 or another.
The coming Snapdragon 800 quad-core is said to power up the processing speed of the HTC T6. Based from the source, this will enable the phablet to run at an amazing clockspeed of up to 2.3GHz, which is already near the speed of some low end laptops.
One of the revealed specs of the HTC T6 includes a 2GB RAM. Plus, it will have 16GB memory in its internal storage alone. Next, an Ultrapixel camera will be mounted at its back while a 2.1MP camera will be placed on its front face. Add to the icing a 3,300mAh battery. Lastly, this overkill product will feature a stylus accessory and a special software as a bonus to customers.
