T-Mobile Lets You Trade In Your Old iPhone For An iPhone 5 for $0

Are you stuck with your old iPhone model while your friends are already using the iPhone 5? If you are with T-Mobile there is a way for you to get an iPhone 5 without spending a single dollar on its downpayment. The carrier will be offering the iPhone for the very first time this coming Friday April 12 and in line with this is running a promo that’s going to last until June 16.

T-Mobile is offering its qualified customers to trade in their iPhone 4/4S for the latest iPhone 5 without making a downpayment. What you’ll only need to pay is the monthly payment of the device. This makes you get a $99 savings on the no contract device.

According to Mike Sievert, chief marketing officer for T-Mobile, “Our message to iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 customers is simple: bring in your device and trade up to iPhone 5 on T-Mobile. We’re making it incredibly attractive to buy an iPhone 5 by pairing an un-beatable upfront price and trade-in offer with Simple Choice, the most hassle-free and affordable rate plan in wireless.”

Depending on the condition of the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S a customer would want to trade in the credit could go as high as $120. This can be used to cover the downpayment of the iPhone 5 while the remaining balance can be used for the monthly payment, existing T-Mobile bill, purchase of an accessory or for getting another device.

Normally the company will be offering the iPhone 5 for a $99 downpayment and 24 months of interest free payments of $20.

As far as paired plans goes the company says that their Simple Choice plans gives the consumers the best possible choice. Starting at only $50 a month you will already be getting unlimited talk, text and Web with 500MB of up to 4G speed data. An additional 2GB of up to 4G speed data can be added for only $10 per month or pay an additional $20 to get unlimited 4G data.
