Nokia to hold a Lumia event on May 14

nokiaeventlondonIt seems like the month of May will be bringing in a lot of news and interesting announcements for the IT and mobile officials. Just recently, Nokia has announced that it will have its official special Lumia event on the 14th of May. The place that they have chosen to hold this event is just about perfect; London.

Well, we don’t know for sure what exactly this ‘dedicated’ Lumia event bring for the concerned parties but rumor has it that Nokia might be revealing its first Aluminum body Lumia Handset. Although this fact hasn’t been confirmed as yet but Nokia has always been busy in bringing out the best surprises for its customers so you can always expect something different.

The Finnish company has already started sending out invites to the concerned people including Media officials and the invites clearly indicate that the company has something new to reveal. The invite mentions that the ‘Nokia Lumia series continues’ and to ‘see whats next’.  It will be a 6 hour event starting from 10A.M.

Many people believe this next step of Nokia to be a response to Apple’s iPhone 5. So let’s see what the company has for us this time. It surely has been facing a very tough time in the Smartphone industry but it has the potential and the capability to jump back at any time. The model number that Nokia ‘might’ talk about is the Lumia 928 and the Lumia EOS.

The Lumia 928 will feature a metal body with a 4.5-inch touch screen, 8-megapixel camera, and wireless charging capabilities. The Lumia EOS on the other hand will be a Pure-View Windows Phone with a 41-megapixel camera. So in either of the case, users will have a mind blowing experience.

Critics argue that this would be another unsuccessful attempt by Nokia to gain the attention of potential customers but others believe that Nokia might actually hit the market successfully. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and see what happens next.
