There was a time when we used to have small LCD’s for our mobile phones. That time is long gone now. For advanced resolution and better picture quality, Smartphone companies have launched phones with some of the largest sized LCD’s. While some people like the idea of having big screens for a better experience, there are some users who don’t. For them there is good news as LG has just recently launched a new variant, LG Optimus Gk in Korea.
The Smartphone comes with a 5 inch LCD as compared to the 5.5 inch LCD of the G Pro, making it an attractive phone for users. This is more or less an addition to the previous model LG Optimus G Pro as it has many similar features and specifications.
The major difference between the previous version and the Optimus GK is the size of the screen and also the fact that it is launched only in Korea as yet for the Korean Carrier KT. We do not know when this phone is going to leave Korea and enter into other markets but for the time being it is only for Korean KT users. The features of the phone, as mentioned before are similar to the ones of Optimus G Pro.
These include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset, providing users with a speed of about 1.7GHz, with the help of four CPU’s, a 2 GB Ram, 16 GB internal space for more storage, a 13 megapixel camera for improved picture results, a 2 megapixel front camera and a 3100mAh battery.
Many people believe that the LCD size will be tough on the battery but let’s wait and see it that’s really true. The latter version of the Optimus also features the same Android OS 4.1.2 Jellybean.
As far as the international availability is concerned, no one is really sure of it. The price of the phone is also yet to be announced.
