iOS 7 is said to be delayed, and will feature major visual changes

We all know that the Cupertino based tech giant is working on the next version of the mobile operating system, iOS 7. But we have not heard any significant amount of rumors about this product yet. But today, we have some news, thanks to John Gruber, who has brought forward some of the facts about the new mobile operating system from Apple. According to him, and many other sources till now, the new iOS 7 will feature a new and improved user interface, something which will be completely different than what we have today. And as usual, the Cupertino tech giant is very secretive about its products, therefore there have been very less information leaks about this new update. But Gruber states:

“Word on the street is that iOS engineers with carry privileges all have some sort of polarizing filter on their iPhone displays, such that it greatly decreases viewing angles, thus making it difficult for observers to see the apparently rather significant system-wide UI overhaul.”

And we do not know any specifics of the new user interface. But Gruber says, “Ive’s work is apparently making many people really happy, but will also apparently make rich-texture-loving designers sad.” This may mean that the new mobile operating system will have cleaner designs without any unwanted texture fills.

John Gruber also says that the company is already lagging behind its schedule on iOS 7. And because of this, the company’s OS X 10.9 engineers have started working on iOS 7 as well, to speed up the process. But if you are very interested in the new mobile operating system, you will have to wait a bit longer, because there are no rumors about the release date of the new iOS 7. And if you hear anyone saying that Apple will be showcasing this new OS at the WWDC event, believe that with a load of salt.
