How HTC rides on Facebook

With the entire hullabaloo attached to Facebook and its popularity, it was a matter of time for the social network giant to step up with some app to make Facebook more in-sync with some of the modern day smartphones. Well we do not need to wait more as from April 12, 2013; Facebook Home can be the new home screen app of your for easier Facebook sharing and messaging options. But as announced by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, the app is currently available for Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean OS run android based smartphones only including Samsung Galaxy S III, S IV, Note II, HTC One and HTC One X. The plan though includes expansion of the app to iOS as well.

htc2The Facebook app easily available from the Google Play or Apple Store will help you to socialize even better with the active tap, press and swipe opportunity straight from your smartphone home screen. Simply imagine having all your latest ‘Cover Feeds’ from your near and dear ones in front of your eyes every time you turn on your phone. Besides the simple flicking and swiping of your fingertips will open the window of lively two-some or group chats with the help of the tiny floating ‘Chat Head’ bearing the image of a user’s profile image. Initially ad free your newsfeeds will only have all the news you may want to know from your friends.

Now if a Facebook Home app is not something you are surprised of, brace yourself for the ultimate $100 4G LTE enabled Facebook phone from HTC. As on April 04, 2013 both HTC and AT&T announced the arrival of ‘HTC first’ also from April 12, 2013. Now maybe not from Facebook itself but it will be curious to see how HTC rides on Facebook’s image.
