Galaxy Tab 8 Revealed on the Bluetooth Certification Alliance Website

Bluetooth SIG

The Samsung Galaxy S4 just came out, but now, people are immediately focusing their attention on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0. For some time, there have been rumors floating around that two versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab are in the works following the success of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. The two tablets, according to rumors, are the 8-inch and 10.1-inch versions.

Just recently, the speculations about the 8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 or the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 (based on the report of another source), has surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG website. This confirms that there is indeed an upcoming successor to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

However, the product on the Bluetooth SIG website was not listed down the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8. The product name is not yet final too, but the design name in the registration says that it is the Samsung Mobile Tablet with the model code SM-T311. Then, the assessment and the listing were indicated by the document of Bluetooth SIG as April 26, 2013.

The data on the Bluetooth SIG states that the device is expected to be released in Europe. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 is also slated in September this year. The 10.1-inch version is expected to subsequently show up after its unveiling, sources say.

Primary Features

The Bluetooth SIG shows that it will carry a Bluetooth 4.0 support. Then, quoting a past article from UnwiredView, our second source says that a 1280 x 800 resolution will be offered by the 8-inch version. In addition, it will have a quad-core processor and the Android Jelly Bean OS to ensure its great performance.

Although there are different colors available for the casing of the new tablet, it will be available in white at first. Lastly, the upcoming tablet will only be 6.95mm thick which makes it very handy.
