Famous iPhone hacker Comex to join Google

Who is Comex?

If you are an iPhone fan and love tinkering your iPhone by jailbreaking it and installing the famous Cydia App Store for awesome apps, then you would have heard about one of the most popular iPhone jailbreakers ever, Comex. Comex’s real name is Nicholas Allegra.

He is popular for releasing some of the most popular and successful iOS jailbreak tools such as Jailbreak Me and Spirit. Jailbreak Me was a huge hit in the jailbreaking world due to its simplicity for the user.

A brief history of Comex

Comex, back in 2011, was employed by the Cupertino tech giant, Apple, to work on security in its mobile operating system. And who else would be a good candidate for the job other than one of the most popular hacker of that same operating system?

He was working as an intern there, and when it came to continuing his work at Apple, the company had indeed offered him a job. But apparently, he forgot to reply to the email that Apple had sent. And so, fortunately or unfortunately, he did not continue there.

Joining Google Despite No Interest In Android

Now, Nicholas Allegra has tweeted that he will be joining Google as an intern. The first thing that comes to mind when you read that is that maybe he will be working on the Android mobile operating system that Google has. But he has made it very clear that he will not be working on Android.

He has also said that he had no interest in Android, and still has not found any interest in tinkering the Google mobile operating system. But it is also unclear on what project or product he will be working on. And now that he is no more associated with the Cupertino tech giant, will he be able to work on hacking iPhones again? Well, that is the doubt everyone has now. We will have to wait and see.
