You’re all encouraged to brace yourself for the ultimate battle of supremacy between Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Apple’s latest iPhone collection. Known to many, iPhone has been dominating the market when it comes to the higher end. However, in terms of Smartphones distribution, Samsung has always emerged supreme. The shift in the balance of power was clearly evidenced last year when the South Korean Company released their flagship Smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy S3. The S3 did manage to elevate the company and their entire Galaxy S franchise. The high standards set by the S3 can only fill the consumers with even higher expectations for the Galaxy S4.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is set to be a blockbuster phone. Scheduled to be released this Thursday the 14th of March at the Radio City Music Hall in New York, anxiety is catching on quick. People cannot wait to see what is store for them especially now that Samsung have decided to stay tongue tide. Very little is known about the S4.
In the recent past, the prominence of iPhone has been dwindling. Carolina Milanesi an analyst at Gartner recons that recently, there have been a lot of negativity surrounding the iPhone brand. The company basically lacks the wow factor in most of their devices, something which was very prominent when Steve Jobs was at the head of their operations. For them, this is not good at all considering the fact that Samsung are fully committed and consolidated to move their company forward. It has been said that Samsung spends approximately $ 5 billion per year on their ad campaigns.
In an attempt of stamping their authority and protecting their dominance, Apple has issued an immediate response. Reports are out suggesting that the company has brought forward the release date of its new device. It is believed that the iPhone 5S will hit the stores in the summer; September to be exact. Analysts have referred to this war as a Wacky Race where by one company pulls ahead for sometime only for the other company to overtake it.
