Play Store turns one today, discounts all around!

It was only last year, when Google officially rebranded their android app store as the Google Play Store. And looks like time flew pretty fast as Google Play is turning one today. With its birthday today, the play store is offering a number of discounts and freebies for its users.

The discounts vary over a number of products including books, apps and movies. The sale started with the Australian play store and now, it’s also available in the US play store too.

Currently, the sale is restricted to songs and in app purchases only, however the promotional page on the play store assures more discounts in the coming days. It looks like the Play store is all set to make its users happy like they did in September when the store hit over 25 billion download.

It’s been an incredible first year and we look forward to sharing the gift of digital diversions for many more to come.”
