Galaxy S III and Note II to get Android 5.0!!

imagesSamsung just announced their next flagship device Galaxy SIV which still runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Many of the Samsung smartphones users are already thinking about Android’s next release probably known as Key Lime Pie. Sammobile has revealed that they have received a pre list about upcoming android updates from Samsung through an insider.

Android 5.0 codenamed Key Lime pie will be a major release from Google which is expected to be announced in the upcoming Google I/O developers’ conference in May. According to the sources Key Lime Pie will be a big update and Samsung will take some time to update its Galaxy Line up. Devices which will stop getting any further update after Android 4.2.2 update include Galaxy Grand (GT-I9080), Galaxy Grand DUOS (GT-I9082), Galaxy Ace 2 (GT-I8160), Galaxy S III mini (GT-I8190), Galaxy Beam (GT-I8530), Galaxy Express (GT-I8730), Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070), Galaxy S II 9 GT-I9100), Galaxy S II Plus (GT-I9105), Galaxy Premier (GT-I9260), Galaxy Note (GT-N7000), Galaxy Young (GT-S6310), Galaxy Young DUOS (GT-S6312), Galaxy Fame (GT-S6810) and Galaxy X Cover 2 (GT-S7710).

The lucky Galaxy devices which will get Android 5.0 update are Galaxy S III (GT-I9300), Galaxy S III LTE (GT-I9305), Galaxy S 4 (GT-I9500), Galaxy S 4 LTE (GT-I9505), Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5100), Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE (GT-N5105), Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi (GT-N5110), Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100), Galaxy Note II LTE (GT-N7105), Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8000), Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE (GT-N8005) and Galaxy Note 10.1 Wi-Fi (GT-N8010).

The inside sources have also revealed that some of the Galaxy devices will get a complimentary value pack update; Samsung had previously released value pack updates for first generation Galaxy phones like Galaxy W which brought many ICS-like features to these old generation Galaxy phones running Android 2.3.6. Sammobile has clearly stated that this is a pre list and Samsung might change the list.
