Cube U30GT2 Android Tablet Price, Specs, Features

If you’re looking for an Android tablet that’s got great specs yet comes at a budget friendly price then you might want to consider getting the Cube U30GT2. Cube is one of the first Chinese manufacturers that followed Apple’s lead in releasing high resolution display devices. While resolutions higher than 1080p on tablets are common today you have to pay a premium price to enjoy it. Cube however has just released a device that offers premium specifications at a price lower than what you would normally have to pay.

Cube U30GT2 Technical Specifications

  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • 10.1-inch IPS display 1,920 x 1,200 resolution
  • Quad-core 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor
  • Mali 400 GPU
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • microSD support
  • 5-megapixel main camera
  • 2-megapixel front cam
  • mini HDMI slot
  • 8,000mAh battery

The Cube U30GT2 has a slim body with a thickness of only 9.5 mm. Its processor is reportedly even better than the Tegra 3 or the Exynos 4412. There’s 2 GB of RAM that should make you run apps more smoothly while the internal storage space of 32 GB can be increased further with the addition of a microSD card.

Although the device is made of plastic in no way does it feel cheap at all. It has a premium feel to it and as you hold it in your hands you will notice that there aren’t any creaks in the joints.

Most of the problem with devices made by lesser known Chinese manufacturers is the quality of the product. Sometimes you will get a unit that works great while sometimes there are problems encountered such as dead pixels among others. So far, Cube products are at par in terms of quality control with some of the better known Android manufacturers.

As far as pricing goes you can order this device online for only $250. This however does not include the shipping fee so you still have to factor this in.
