Samsung Project J has apparently 3 separate devices

Samsung is a smart phone manufacturer which works on a very strict time to market concept. It the company misses a product release window, it would become difficult for the company to get back the market share and the profits that it would be expecting out of a product. To meet the time to market window, one needs to plan out everything properly, and work accordingly. For example, the South Korea based smart phone manufacturer has already registered a bunch of names for its upcoming smart phones, but it is not known if any of these smart phones are actually in the making. The South Korean based smart phone manufacturer, Samsung, has filed United States trademarks for the following names: Galaxy S Kit, Galaxy S Mate, Galaxy S Impact and Galaxy S Act. These could be the possible names of the upcoming Samsung Android smart phones. Since the line of smart phones is Galaxy S branded, these could be in the upper mid range sector of the smart phone market. Not just this, the South Korean company is also working on registering the name ATIV Zexy trademark in Europe. And since this is ATIV branded, it is going to be name of a Windows Phone smart phone. But again, there is no idea if there is a smart phone in the works to bear this name. Samsung needs to get a good market share in the United States this quarter. It is good to know that the company managed to get a 2.3 per cent increase in its market share in the United States. But if it manages to continue to be on the rise, soon the company will be over the Cupertino tech giant and its iPhone. Apple has managed to get a steady 2 per cent rise in its market share in the previous quarter ending December, 2012.

After the success of Samsung Galaxy S3, the sequel S IV is supposed to be the most anticipated devices that will be launched by Samsung this year. It’s a flagship device, and there’s no official information on the device. There are a lot of rumors about Samsung Galaxy S IV, but here’s an interesting one. Samsung Galaxy S IV was first leaked as Project J, and later rumors referred the device with Altius codename, which was later identified with the GT-I9500 model name.

Looking at those rumors, we can safely assume that Samsung Galaxy S IV will have the GT-I9500 model name, and it is also Project J, but apparently it is just a part of it. According to the latest rumor which has surfaced, Project J does consist the highly anticipated S IV, however, it is just a part of project and Project J actually consists of three separate devices. A list of accessories of Project J leaked today, and while the S IV is obviously an interesting news, the other two devices included in the project are equally interesting.

According to the latest leaked list of accessories for the Project J Altius or the Galaxy S IV, in addition to covers and pouches, there will also be a 2,600mAh battery as an accessory. This could be the replacement battery, and if that is really the case, then it would be safe to say that Galaxy S IV will come with 2,600 mAh battery, and that should give sufficient juice to run the high end internals that it is expected to come with and the 5 inch 1080p display. Apart from that, there is the wireless charging kit, and it’s a widely accepted news that Galaxy S IV will be having wireless charging capabilities built in, and since it’s a flagship device and several high end phones are coming with wireless charging support, even the S IV will follow suit.

In the next part of the Project J lives the J Mini Serrano, and judging by the covers listed for the device, it looks like it could be mini version of Samsung Galaxy S IV mini.

The last part is perhaps the most exciting one because it suggests that the South Korean technology major could be working on a smartwatch under Project J Active Fortius codename. The accessories include an arm band and a bike mount which suggests that the mysterious device may or could be a smartwatch. Below is a list of all the leaked accessories:

Project J Altius:
– Clear Cover
– Flip Cover
– Protective Cover
– Pouch
– Extra Battery Kit
– Battery 2600 mah
– Wireless Charging Kit
– HDTV Adapter
– Headset

Project J Mini Serrano:
