Samsung Galaxy S IV is the most anticipated Android flagship phone that will be launching soon. According to the rumors, the device is set to be unveiled at an event on March 15th, and should be made available at the beginning of April. The reason for the amount of hype surrounding this particular flagship device is that it’s a sequel of Galaxy SIII, and months after the launch, the product is still hot and many people are still buying. At one point in time, Galaxy S3 was said to be the best Android smartphone ever built. Now we have better phones in the market, but we’re expecting the GS4 to be better than the competition in multiple ways, and hence the hype.
With people expecting so much from the next flagship device of Samsung, the leaked data suggests that folks with anticipation will surely be happy. We had previously seen few leaked pictures that were allegedly clicked using Galaxy S4’s camera module, and now we have a new photograph that appears to be photographed using the camera on Samsung’s next flagship. The image appeared on Picasa, and there are two photographs. The pictures definitely aren’t going to win any photography award because it’s just a picture of rear of a desktop computer tower, but what makes these pictures interesting is the EXIF data.
The EXIF data show that the device used to take the photos was the Samsung GT-I9505 which should be the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S IV. According to the rumors, the device will be equipped with 13MP camera, and the latest picture has a resolution of 2322 x 4128 which does show that a 13MP camera could have been used. The Picasa account is under the name of Su Ya and the picture is titled as “Test,”, which suggests that it’s a test picture from some kind of new device or a new S IV.
It should be noted that EXIF data sheet can be easily faked, but the other details are pretty much believable and the quality of the photograph is pretty good too. Also, if the photograph is really from a Galaxy S IV, it surely isn’t from the final production version of the device and the company will be surely conducting some tweaks that will affect the output quality of the camera on the devices that will be shipping to customers.
The Galaxy S IV is expected to be powered by an Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU, a quad-core graphics processor, a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera capable of shooting 1080p high-definition videos at 30 FPS and a 2-megapixel front camera capable of shooting 720p video. Other reports suggest that Galaxy S IV will hit shelves in two colors- black and white- similar to iPhone, Samsung’s biggest rival in the smartphone arena.
Samsung Galaxy S IV definitely sounds like a good contender in the smartphone war. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know using the comment form below.
