Huawei Ascend P2 vs HTC One vs Sony Xperia Z

Huawei, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is fairly popular now. They have been launching smartphones with outstanding specs at reasonable prices. Huawei today came out with Ascend P2, one of the best smartphones the company has ever made. Huawei is apparently claiming that this particular device is world’s fastest smartphone. That’s a tall claim to make. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz K3V2 quad-core processor, the Ascend P2 features a sufficiently large 4.7″ HD 720p screen, though the competition has moved on to 1080p Full HD display, but then you get what you pay for, but that said, the display has great quality. The display specs are decent: 500 nits brightness, viewing angle of 85 degrees, 315 ppi, covering 71% of the standard NTSC color gamut and with 1000:1 contrast ratio.

Ascend P2 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top. Huawei says the phone will be made available globally, though it carries a June release date, which is still good four months away. Since the phone will be sold outside China too, will it pose a threat to flagship devices from prominent manufacturers in the smartphone industry?

Well, we will have to wait and watch, but below is a comparison between Ascend P2, HTC One and Xperia Z.
