ZTE Nubia Z7 Now On The Way?

Hot on the heels of the Nubia Z5 is a new product from ZTE called the Nubia Z7. Purportedly, ZTE is currently preparing this new device which will boast of a 6.3-inch display. This measurement is close to the size of the Huawei Ascend Mate which has a 6.1-inch screen.

GizmoChina reports that the Nubia Z7 will come with a 2560 x 1440 resolution whose manufacturer is still unknown. Under the hood, it will be packed with an eight-core processor that combines a quad-core Cortex A15 processor working with a quad-core A7 processor with a clock speed of 1.47GHz. The CPU will work with a Mali-T658 graphics processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage capacity. Its operating system will be Android 5.0, supposedly.

It is also rumored that the phablet will boast of a 16-megapixel main camera that features autofocus and an LED flash. Said camera supports 1440p video recordings with 60 frames per second.

As for connectivity, the Nubia N7 may offer Bluetooth 5.0, USB 3.0, and LTE 4G. MHL and NFC could likewise be available. It will draw its power from a built-in 4000mAh large capacity battery.

The handset is said to measure 9 mm in thickness, and tip the scale at 200 grams.

GizmoChina notes, however, that these rumored specifications may pertain to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or the Samsung Galaxy S4.

ZTE, it would be recalled, launched the Nubia product line in October last year to cater to the high-end market segment. To date, they have only released one product from the Nubia line, which is the Nubia Z5. Among the phablet’s key features are a 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm 8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a thickness of 7.6mm, a bezel measuring 2.67 mm, a 2300 mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel f/2.2 camera. The handset is now available for pre-order on ZTE’s website.
