Nexus 7 Docking Station Sold Out In The United Kingdom

Just last night the Nexus 7 docking station had become available at ASUS’ UK-based online store. While that was exciting news, it was a huge letdown for many who found the accessory  listed as “sold out” this morning. We don’t know how many docking stations ASUS made available, but selling out in a mere few hours is an impressive feat. Albeit the shortage may lead some potential customers to become angry, especially after the Nexus 4 fiasco with LG, we’re sure ASUS will get on the ball with making more extremely soon.

While ASUS’ initial batch of stock ran out, It shouldn’t be long before another retailer surfaces with stock available now that the dock is out in the wild. Besides, ASUS tends to be really good at making sure more units are available in a mannerly time frame unlike another company we’re all very frustrated with who happens to be manufacturing the Nexus 4.

The Nexus 7 docking station has been said to become available in the U.S. market on Friday, January 18th for $39.99. It may be wise to prepare your credit cards, as the docking station will no doubt sell out just as fast as it did in the U.K., if not faster.

Those who are interested in preparing their wallets for Friday’s release of the Nexus 7 docking station can check out more information here.

We’ll be sure to let everyone know when the dock becomes available in the U.K. again.
